The Klezmatics

GRAMMY Award-winning klezmer legends The Klezmatics celebrate 20 years of their landmark collaboration with Woody Guthrie in a special concert featuring original Wonder Wheel collaborators Susan McKeown and Boo Reiners.

Released in 2006, Wonder Wheel transformed previously unrecorded Woody Guthrie lyrics into an extraordinary musical journey through klezmer, American folk, gospel, Celtic, Latin and Afro-Caribbean traditions — earning The Klezmatics the GRAMMY Award for Best Contemporary World Music Album.

Now celebrating 40 years together, The Klezmatics bring this groundbreaking project back to the stage following the release of Wonder Wheel: 20th Anniversary Edition — expanded to 19 tracks with seven archival recordings and the album's first-ever vinyl edition.

Following their sold-out 40th-anniversary celebration at Symphony Space, the band reunites with McKeown and Reiners for a special evening of Woody Guthrie's timeless words, fearless musical invention and songs of hope, resistance and radical joy.

“The Klezmatics are wonderful… ‘Gonna Get Through This World’ is a piece of GENIUS.” — Pete Seeger
