Aterciopelados

Aterciopelados, the Colombian rock band led by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago, has been a significant force in Iberoamerican music for over 30 years, blending Latin rhythms, local sounds, and rock. They have released 12 albums, won 4 Latin Grammys (the latest in 2024), and are known for promoting female empowerment and environmental awareness.

Their 2024 "El Dorado Tour" included 63 concerts across America, Europe, and Oceania. Aterciopelados has released many hits, including "Bolero Falaz," "Florecita Rockera," and "Baracunatana."

In late 2024, they released "AGRADECIDA," a fusion of waltz and alternative rock featuring Gustavo Santaolalla. This release preceded their tenth studio album, "GENES REBELDES," launched in April 2025. This album, with its thirteen songs, explores themes of identity, resistance, and hope, combining cultural roots, personal reflections, and futuristic visions.
