NO TE VA GUSTAR (NTVG) was formed in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1994 when a group of friends from high school decided to put together a band and perform at a festival in a neighborhood square.

With 30 years of experience, NTVG has become one of the most popular rock bands in Spanish in Latin America. Throughout his career he has developed important tours around the world, touring all of South America and countries such as Cuba, Panama, Costa Rica, Mexico, the United States, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, England and Spain.

Their live performances are powerful, precise, and refined. Always with a rock sound, it fuses different musical genres such as reggae, folk, murga or ska based on the influences of each of its members.

The band is passionate about the recording process and finding and exploring new sounds in each of their albums. All of his albums have reached Gold or Platinum status and have been released in the United States, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina.

Born in the heart of the charming city of Montevideo, with its melancholic peace, the attractive intellectuality of its bars and cafes, and the permanent musicality of every corner, NTVG has built its musical universe based on expanding what its environment offers with elements that it finds on its intense path. With heartfelt and intelligent lyrics they build a sound that travels between the local and the cosmopolitan, maintaining a biting balance between existentialist bitterness and the most warlike optimism.
