Broadway Sings, the acclaimed NYC concert series the New York Times calls “sheer brilliance”, brings its 15-piece orchestra and over a dozen queer, Bipoc Broadway stars back to Sony Hall to celebrate Lady Gaga’s most recent hit album, CHROMATICA, as one of the last events of NYC’s Pride Weekend. The concert will feature brand new arrangements of every song from the album, such as “Stupid Love” and “Rain on Me”, as well as a few of her classic hits. Come celebrate pride BROADWAY SINGS style!
The Broadway Sings concert series, founded in 2012, rearranges and re-orchestrates the music of a pop superstar to fit the strengths of the certain Broadway performer singing the song. They have incorporated over 300 Broadway actors into their shows, including Tony Award Winners/Nominees Ben Platt, Ariana DeBose, Shoshana Bean, Danielle Brooks, Constantine Maroulis, Keala Settle, Stark Sands, Jarrod Spector, Lena Hall, Brandon Victor Dixon, Saycon Sengbloh and Lauren Patten. The New York Times calls the series “sheer brilliance” and has landed on Playbill’s “Best of the Year” lists for multiple years in a row.
